A Design Victory

I was in Pukekohe the day after the Ranfurly Shield parade. Unfortunately, I wasn't wearing my red jacket to go with the white shirt and black trousers.

But that's not important right now. The victory was the woman I met with, picking up one of the Debtograph business cards, and waving it, saying "this was my favourite". She hadn't seen the site for a couple of weeks, but the design had stayed with her and she recognised it immediately. So I count that as a victory for good design.

And despite being a professional accountant, she liked the four-way characterisation as big/slow or small/fast, i.e. the least numerically complex of the presentations. Simplicity: always seek simplicity.
