Pair Mousing

I have blogged before about using two keyboards and mice for pair programming. I have now re-used this pattern in close collaboration with my customer:
We're comparing a new system with my customer's spreadsheets. I take main control, but my customer has his own cordless mouse so that he can point to crucial cells without an It's A Knockout "left a bit, right a bit". It works well.

You'll also notice a pair of discarded spectacles. That's now our challenge - neither of us has the eyesight to do this job. Answers on a postcard, please - in block capitals.

Data Visualisation Masterclass

I attended a masterclass run by Adam Frost, Data Visualisation Manager at the Guardian's Digital Agency and Tobias Sturt, Design & User Experience Manager at the same. Recommended.

In the afternoon we discussed how to present the top 100 global brands as an interactive. Compare my team's Billion Dollar-o-Gram Treatment with the version done by the Guardian for their client, Kantar.

Here are a few links.
